Why should I use a Bosch fuel filter?

Bosch injection systems are used in BMW diesel vehicles. As the company that designed the system, Bosch also produces the filter that best protects the injectors. Bosch filters prevent costly injector failures by trapping microscopic water droplets and particles.

When should the fuel filter be changed?

Due to variable fuel quality in Turkey, while the manufacturer's recommendation is generally every 2 services (approximately 30,000 km), it is advised to change it at every periodic maintenance (15,000 km) for injector health.

How can I tell if the fuel filter is clogged?

A clogged filter shows symptoms such as delayed engine start, idle fluctuations, lack of throttle response, and power loss at high RPMs. It may also cause the engine warning light to illuminate on the dashboard.
