Does this filter fit N47 engines? No, it does not fit at all. This product is only for the 3-cylinder B37 engine models of the 116d produced from 2015 onwards. The filter for vehicles with the (4-cylinder) N47 engine from 2011-2015 is different.
How much oil does the B37 engine take? BMW 116d vehicles with the B37 engine take approximately 4.4 Litres of engine oil with the oil filter change.
What is the installation torque value? It is recommended to tighten the plastic oil filter cap with a torque wrench to 25 Nm. Do not forget to lubricate the gasket with clean engine oil before installation.
What other vehicles does it fit? It is also fully compatible with the diesel versions of the BMW 2 Series (F45/F46 Active Tourer), BMW 3 Series (F30 LCI 316d), and MINI Cooper (F55/F56) models with the B37 engine.
