This is an activated carbon cabin filter (MANN-FILTER CUK 24 021) specially produced for BMW models using the UKL platform, including the 2 Series Active Tourer (F45), X1 (F48), and MINI Cooper. It ensures full compatibility with the ventilation system of vehicles equipped with B38 (Gasoline) and Hybrid (225xe) engine codes. Thanks to its dense activated carbon layer, it prevents not only dust and pollen but also exhaust gases and unpleasant odors from entering the cabin.
- Activated Carbon Protection: Chemically absorbs exhaust smoke, ozone, and unpleasant odors (such as fertilizer) to prevent them from entering the cabin.
- Hybrid Compatible: Meets original standards for sensitive climate control systems in hybrid models like the BMW 225xe and MINI Cooper SE.
- Anti-Allergic: Provides up to 99% protection against pollen, mold spores, and bacteria during the spring months.
- Air Conditioning Performance: With high air permeability, it does not strain the air conditioning fan and supports quick defogging of windows in winter.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Does this filter fit my BMW 1 Series (F20 or F40) Hatchback? NO, IT DOES NOT FIT! The 1 Series F20 (Old Model) uses a curved banana-type (CUK 25 001) filter. The 1 Series F40 (New Model) uses a two-piece set (CUK 23 015-2). This product (CUK 24 021) is only suitable for 2 Series Active Tourer, X1, and MINI models.
Why should I choose a carbon filter? Standard filters only trap dust, while activated carbon filters capture unpleasant odors and harmful gases with their sponge-like structure. They especially prevent outside odors from entering the vehicle in heavy traffic and tunnels.
Is the cabin filter different in hybrid vehicles? Generally, no. Hybrid models like the 225xe use the same ventilation box as their internal combustion engine counterparts, so this filter is fully compatible.
What is the replacement interval? To prevent bacteria formation and unpleasant odors, it is recommended to replace the cabin filter every year or every 15,000 km (during periodic maintenance).
