BMW E87 Right Engine Mount (Gasoline)

BSG 15-700-200 | N45 - N46 Engine | Passenger Side

This right engine mount is produced for the BMW 1 Series E87 (116i, 118i, 120i) and 3 Series E90 (316i, 318i, 320i) vehicles equipped with N45 and N46 coded 4-cylinder gasoline engines. It is a hydraulic/rubber part located on the right (passenger) side of the engine that supports the weight of the engine and dampens vibrations. When worn (sunk), it causes excessive shaking in the steering at idle and clunking during starts.

  • Right Side: It operates on the exhaust manifold side (passenger side) and is made of heat-resistant reinforced material.
  • Vibration Isolation: It has a special rubber/hydraulic filling to prevent the engine's vibrations from being transmitted to the chassis.
  • Compatible Engines: N45B16 (1.6L) and N46B20 (2.0L) Gasoline engines.

Will it fit my 2009 model N43 engine? Some facelifted (LCI) N43 engines use this mount, while others may have a different type. You may notice the difference especially in vehicles with Start-Stop features. Please do not order without checking your chassis number for the N43 engine.
Can it be installed on the left side as well? **NO.** Engine mounts are not symmetrical. The angle and height of the right mount are different from the left mount (intake side). This product is only for the RIGHT side.
Is it suitable for Diesel (116d / 118d)? No. The vibration of Diesel (N47) engines is higher, so the mount structures and the hydraulic ratios inside are different. This product is only for Gasoline engines.
