My vehicle is a 2016 model 1.18i (3-cylinder), will this part fit? **NO.** The injectors for the 3-cylinder (1.5L) B38 engines produced after 2015 are completely different. This product is only for the 4-cylinder N13 engines from 2011-2015.
Is coding (registration) required? Yes. Each injector has a unique flow tolerance code written on it. After installation, it is mandatory to enter this code into the vehicle's brain (ECU) using a diagnostic device for the engine to operate correctly and for fuel efficiency.
Is it sufficient to replace just one? Technically it is possible, but the injectors in N13 engines have similar lifespans. If one fails, the likelihood of the others failing is high, and replacing just one can create power imbalance between cylinders. It is recommended to replace the set (4 pieces).
