Does this filter fit the old body (F20) vehicle? NO, IT DOES NOT FIT! This filter (F 026 400 360) is only for the new body (F40) 1 Series vehicles produced after 2019. The air filter for the F20 body from 2011-2019 is completely different in shape and size.
Do petrol and diesel engines use the same filter? Yes, the air filter housing design for the B38 (Petrol) and B37 (Diesel) 3-cylinder engines used in the F40 body is common. This product is fully compatible with both engine options.
Which other vehicles does it fit? This filter is also compatible with; BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe (F44), 2 Series Active Tourer (U06), X1 (F48 LCI), X2 (F39), and the new generation MINI Cooper models.
