Does this filter fit the 118i (Petrol) vehicle? No, it does not fit. This product is a diesel fuel filter. In petrol vehicles like the 118i, the fuel filter is located inside the tank and is not replaced as a maintenance part in this way. It is only for 116d diesel models.
Does it come with a heater? No. The black plastic part on the filter (fuel heater) is the vehicle's own part and is reused. During installation, you need to remove the heater from your old filter and install it on this new Bosch filter, renewing the gasket set (if applicable).
How often should I replace it? For BMW diesel vehicles, considering the fuel quality in our country, it is recommended to replace it every 2 maintenance intervals (approximately 30,000 km) for the health of the injectors.
