This complete headlight unit from DEPO (444-1110L-LD-EO) is designed for the front left (driver side) illumination of BMW 3 Series E36 (1990-1998) Sedan, Coupe, Cabrio, and Touring vehicles. It features the popular "Clear Lens and Projector" design favored by E36 users. It is an excellent upgrade to replace your old headlight that has become cloudy, yellowed, or waterlogged over time. The short beam projector system focuses the light in a line on the road, providing a perfect base for Xenon or LED bulb conversions without blinding oncoming drivers.

  • Clear Transparent Appearance: The absence of speckles on the inner surface of the outer glass allows the lens to stand out clearly, giving the vehicle a much younger and more aggressive "Clean Look".
  • Projector Cut: It transmits light to the road using an optical lens rather than a reflective design. It does not blind oncoming drivers and enhances nighttime safety by focusing the light on the ground.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does the turn signal come with the headlight? No. In BMW E36 models, the front headlight and turn signal are physically two separate parts (they later connect with a slide). This product is only the main headlight unit. If your turn signal is broken, you will need to order it separately. (The clip structures of the Sedan and Coupe turn signals are different, please pay attention when purchasing).
If my original headlight is ZKW/BOSCH, will it look odd if I use DEPO on one side? If the glass on the other side is old and "speckled," this headlight will disrupt symmetry when viewed from the front because it is clear. Additionally, there will be a noticeable difference between the brightness of the new glass and the dullness of the old glass. For visual integrity and lighting equality, it is recommended to replace the headlights as a **Set of Left and Right**.
Can I install an LED (Xenon) bulb in this headlight? Yes, the biggest advantage of this headlight is its projector design. While powerful LED bulbs installed in classic reflector headlights scatter light and blind oncoming drivers; a quality H1 LED bulb installed in this projector headlight will focus the light perfectly on the road with razor-sharp precision.
