⚠️ IMPORTANT COMPLETE REPLACEMENT AND ENGINE CODE WARNING:
- Timing Skip Disaster: An elongated camshaft chain over time skips over gears, disrupting the engine's timing. This can cause the pistons to collide with the valves, leading to complete engine failure! If you hear a diesel-like rattle from the engine in the mornings, hitting the road without installing a brand new BMW E36 M43 Camshaft Chain Set is a huge gamble.
- Missing Part Misconception: Changing "only the chain" during a chain replacement is suicidal. The plastic guides (sliders) that the chain runs on and the hydraulic tensioner also wear out over time. This set includes all the parts needed to reset the system (complete kit).
The legend of BMW on the roads, the E36 chassis, has been specially imported for the 4-cylinder chain-driven M43 engines, solving the dangerous elongation and noise problem at the heart of the engine with the FEBİ brand BMW E36 M43 Camshaft Chain Set! Unlike the old generation belt-driven M40 engines, M43 engines derive their power from a steel camshaft chain. However, hundreds of thousands of kilometers of use, metal fatigue, and oil pressure losses cause this steel chain to elongate and the guide pads to break. That embarrassing metallic "clack-clack-clack" sound from the engine during the first start in the mornings is a red alert that the old and elongated BMW E36 M43 Camshaft Chain Set mechanism is about to fail completely. To save your engine from bearing seizing, bending valves, and tens of thousands of lira in rectification costs, you can restore your engine timing (synchronization) to zero-kilometer tolerances with this brand new BMW E36 M43 Camshaft Chain Set produced with the quality of FEBİ Bilstein, one of the giants of the German automotive industry. This complete set, which comes with a chain, pads, tensioners, and gears, enhances the traction of your M43 engine and makes its operating sound as smooth as cotton.
- Premium Engine Acoustics: Instantly eliminates that disturbing diesel-like rattle sound caused by the elongated chain and worn pads hitting the engine cover. A brand new BMW E36 M43 Camshaft Chain Set gives your engine a clock-like operating character.
- Vital Engine Protection: Prevents the chain from skipping (timing miss), thereby ensuring that the pistons and valves do not collide, which means preventing engine failure.
- FEBİ Bilstein (OEM) Quality: The heat resistance of the steel alloy and plastic pads fully meets original BMW factory standards. It does not break or stretch at high RPMs.
- Complete Set: Leaves no need to search for extra parts in the industry for installation. The main chain, tensioners, and slider pads required for installation are included in the box.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
My car is a 1992 model E36 316i. Does this BMW E36 M43 Camshaft Chain Set fit my vehicle? BMW used the old generation engines with the "M40" code in the early years of the E36 chassis (generally until the end of 1993). M40 engines are not chain-driven but have a "Timing Belt" structure. Therefore, if your vehicle is belt-driven, this chain set DEFINITELY DOES NOT FIT. This set is for the "M43" code chain-driven engines typically used in models from 1994 and onwards. Please confirm whether your engine is belt-driven or chain-driven (M43) by checking your registration or opening the hood.
My mechanic opened the engine and said only the chain is elongated, the pads are fine. Can I just buy the chain instead of the set? We definitely do not recommend this. As the chain elongates, it also wears down the plastic pads it runs on according to its form. If you install a new and tight chain over worn old pads, the new chain will quickly break the old pads and dump them into the engine, causing severe damage to your engine. To reset the system properly, a complete set replacement is absolutely necessary.
