My vehicle is a 2013 Model F30 320d (N47 Engine), will this pulley fit? **IT WILL NOT FIT.** In F30 models, the engine transitioned from N47 to B47 with the facelift in 2015 (LCI). This product is only for the new generation B47 engines. The crank pulley of the old generation N47 engines has a different groove (channel) count, weight, and mounting structure. Please ensure your vehicle's engine code before ordering.
How can I tell if the crank pulley is damaged or about to break? The first signs are usually a metallic rubbing sound like "click-click-click" heard during the first start in the morning or at idle. When you open the hood and shine a flashlight on the pulley from above, you may see fine cracks in the black rubber filling in the center or it starting to break apart and ooze out. Additionally, if the belt visibly wobbles at idle and you smell burnt rubber inside the vehicle, these are urgent warnings that the pulley has reached the end of its life.
