Changing the oil filter is a procedure that should be performed with every oil change. It is recommended to use a new gasket during the installation of the oil filter. The oil filter should be tightened with a specific torque; this value is generally between 25-30 Nm. Additionally, it is important to check the engine's oil level during the oil filter change and add oil if necessary. For city driving, it is recommended to change the oil filter every 10,000 km, and for long journeys, every 15,000 km.
