Question 1: Does the brake warning cable (sensor) need to be replaced during brake pad replacement?

If the "Brake Pad Worn" warning appears on your vehicle's display, the sensor tip has rubbed against the disc and melted, breaking the circuit; in this case, a new brake pad wear sensor must be installed. Even if the warning has not illuminated, it is recommended to replace the sensor with each pad change for safety, as the cables may become brittle over time due to heat.

Question 2: What should the bedding process (break-in) be for the newly installed pads?

To ensure that the new pads fully seat on the disc surface and achieve maximum grip performance, sudden, very hard, and prolonged braking should be avoided for the first 200-300 km. During this process, soft and gradual stops should be made to prevent the pad surface from glazing (burning).
