Manufactured by Dayco, an expert in belt systems, this pump converts the power from the E46's cooling belt into circulation without loss. My car is a 2003 model 316i, will this part fit? NO, IT WILL NOT FIT. After 2002, E46 models use new generation engines coded N40/N42/N45/N46. The water pump for these engines is different.
Will it fit a 3.20i / 3.25i (6 Cylinder) vehicle? No. The water pump for 6-cylinder (M52/M54) engines is larger. This product is only for 4-cylinder M43 engines.
