This is the original MANN-FILTER (CUK 25 001) activated carbon cabin filter specifically designed for the BMW 2 Series F22 (Coupe) and F23 (Cabrio) models. It features the curved (banana-shaped) design used by BMW in this chassis. Thanks to its multi-layered structure with a dense activated carbon layer, it filters out 99% of dust and pollen, as well as exhaust gases, unpleasant odors, and harmful bacteria, providing a fresh environment inside the vehicle.

Does this filter fit the 2 Series Active Tourer (F45)? NO, IT DOES NOT FIT! The cabin filter for Active Tourer (F45) and Gran Tourer (F46) models is a flat rectangular shape and is usually 2 pieces. This product (CUK 25 001) is curved and only fits Coupe (F22) / Cabrio (F23) chassis.
What is the difference between a standard filter and a carbon filter? Standard filters (starting with CU code) only trap dust. Carbon filters (starting with CUK code) absorb exhaust odors, ozone gas, and unpleasant smells thanks to the activated carbon they contain, preventing them from entering the cabin.
