Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does the sensor (warning plug) come out? No. In Mercedes brake pad boxes, the sensor is usually sold **SEPARATELY**. The pad has a slot prepared for the sensor. Since your old sensor may break while being removed, you should definitely order 1 or 2 warning plugs (depending on the vehicle, usually 1 is needed for the Right Front wheel) when purchasing the pads.
Will it fit my AMG Package (Sport Brake) vehicle? **WARNING:** In W204s, vehicles with the "Sport Package" (Code: 950/952) have drilled discs and different pads. LP2028 is generally for the **Standard Brake System**. If your vehicle has drilled discs or large calipers, do not purchase without checking your chassis number.
Is bedding necessary? Yes. After changing the pads, sudden and very hard braking should be avoided for the first 200-300 km to allow the pads to bed in (surface adaptation) to the disc.
