Does my vehicle have an electronic handbrake, is it compatible? All W205 models have an electric parking brake. These discs are compatible, but they may need to be put into service mode during installation. The important thing is that the disc diameter (mm) matches that of your vehicle.
Can I use my old pads? NEVER. When new discs are installed, NEW BRAKE PADS must always be used. Old pads can damage the surface of the new disc ("grooving") and cause noise issues.
Why is it sold as a set? Brake discs are safety components and should always be replaced on an axle basis (right and left simultaneously) for balanced braking. Changing only one side can cause the vehicle to skid during braking.
