Wiper and Glass Systems Installation and Setup Guide

1. Preparation

   • Turn off the ignition, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

   • Prepare basic tools such as a panel spatula, torque wrench, and screwdriver set.

2. Removal of Old Parts

   • Wiper Arms/Blades: Lift the arms, remove the pivot cover, loosen the nuts to detach the arms; separate the rubber wiper blades from the arm.

   • Glass Seals: Gently remove the upper and lower seals by taking off the door panel.

   • Glass Lift & Motor: Remove the inner door panel and disconnect the electrical connectors to take out the mechanisms.

   • Glass Opening Button: Remove the button from the console panel by detaching the clips, disconnect the connectors.

3. Surface Cleaning

   • Clean the panel and seal grooves from dust and old adhesive residues.

   • Clean the contact surfaces of the button panel with electrical spray.

4. Installation of New Parts

   • Glass Seals: Push the EPDM seals into their grooves until you hear a “click” and clip them in.

   • Glass Lift & Motor: Mount the mechanism in place and tighten the nuts and bolts to OEM torque; connect the sockets.

   • Glass Opening Button: Snap the panel clips into place, connect the sockets and perform a function test.

   • Wiper Arms: Tighten the pivot nuts with a torque wrench and integrate the rubber wiper blade into the arm.

   • Blade and Motor: Secure the motor gear assembly to the body and check the mechanical connection.

5. Test & Control

   • Reconnect the battery; fully open and close the window with the glass opening button, verify smooth movement.

   • Wiper function should be tested at all speed settings and in water spray mode.

   • Confirm all functions before reattaching the panel and clips; then secure the panels to complete the installation.
