My vehicle is a 2016 model 118i (B38 Engine), will this filter fit? NO, IT DOES NOT FIT! The 3-cylinder B38 engines used in facelifted (LCI) models after 2015 require a Panel (Flat/Square) filter. This product is of Cylindrical (Round) type and only fits N13 engines from 2011-2015. Please check the shape of your filter housing (Square or Round?) before placing an order.

Which vehicles is it compatible with? This filter is fully compatible with the BMW 1 Series F20 (114i, 116i, 118i) and BMW 3 Series F30 (316i, 320i ED) models equipped with the N13 coded 1.6 petrol engines.

How often should I change it? Bosch recommends checking the air filter at every oil service (10,000 - 15,000 km) and replacing it at least every 20,000 km. A dirty filter can increase fuel consumption by up to 10%.
