BMW E36 Compact Door Seal Set

This Velvet (Flocked) type door seal set is specially produced for the legendary body of the BMW 3 Series E36 Compact (1994-2000) models. Due to the frameless glass structure of the E36 Compacts, these seals, which come into direct contact with the glass, tear, flatten, and allow wind/water in over time. This set completely renews the Right and Left sides, reducing wind noise, ensuring the glass closes tightly, and restoring your vehicle to its original condition.

  • Compact Special: Specifically produced according to the door shape and glass angle of HB (Compact) bodies.
  • Velvet Surface: The inner part where the glass contacts and slides is covered with soft velvet (flock) just like the original.

Can I install it on my Coupe vehicle? **NO.** Although the doors of the E36 Coupe and E36 Compact vehicles look similar from the outside, their lengths and roof slopes are different. The Coupe seal does not fit the Compact, and the Compact seal does not fit the Coupe. It will be either too short or too long.
Does the seal stick to the door? No. This seal is attached to the vehicle's body (door gap), not the door itself. When the door closes, the glass presses against this seal. It should fit snugly without requiring adhesive, but it is recommended to use sealant (black silicone) at the corners.
Does it reduce wind noise? The number one cause of wind noise in frameless windows is the compression or tearing of the seal. If your glass adjustment (window regulator adjustment) is correct, renewing these seals will reduce wind noise by up to 90%.
