BMW E36 Transmission Mount

This KAUTEK (BM-TM008) transmission mount is compatible with many models, primarily the BMW 3 Series E36 (1991-1998), as well as E30, E46, and E34. It is a critical part that connects the transmission to the vehicle's chassis and absorbs the vibrations produced by the engine. Over time, mounts that become lubricated and soft or break can cause excessive shaking in the gear lever, a "clunk" sound during starts, and difficulty in gear shifting.

How many should I buy? There are 2 mounts in the BMW E36 transmission crossmember, one on the right and one on the left. Since both usually wear out at the same time, it is recommended to purchase and replace 2 pieces (a pair). The price is for one piece.
My gear lever is shaking a lot, will it get better? If the gear lever shakes excessively at idle or tilts left and right when you press the gas, it is likely that your transmission mounts have broken. Replacing these parts will solve the problem by 90%.
Will it fit the M3 model? While standard mounts physically fit M3 models, due to the high torque of M3s, it is generally recommended to use stiffer (solid) mounts or products specifically referenced for M3. This product is for standard (between 316i - 328i) models.
