Is this enough for both the right and left front wheels when I buy this product? Yes. Brake pads are always produced and sold in axle sets (right-left). The price you see is for 1 box, and it contains a total of 4 pads sufficient for your vehicle's front two wheels.
There is a "Brake Pad Wear" warning on the screen. Will the light go off if I only buy this pad? **IT WILL NOT GO OFF.** When the pads are worn out in BMW E90 vehicles, the electronic sensor (warning plug) attached to the pad rubs against the disc and breaks off, sending a fault signal to the screen. Once that plug breaks, it cannot be repaired. To turn off the light and reset the system, you must order 1 "Front Brake Warning Plug (Sensor)" along with this pad set and have it installed by your technician.
I installed new pads, but they make a high-pitched squeal when stopping. Is FEBI pad of poor quality? FEBI is one of the highest quality brake manufacturers in the world; the issue is not with the pad, but most likely with your old brake discs. If there is a protruding steel edge known as a "lip" on the edges of your old disc, the new pad, which is flat and fresh, cannot sit properly on this rough disc and squeals by rubbing against the edges. Additionally, not lubricating the caliper pins during installation or not applying copper grease to the back of the pad can also cause this noise. To eliminate the sound, it is essential to check your discs (and resurface or replace them if necessary).
