This is the MANN-FILTER C 24 024 air filter designed for the BMW 1 Series F20 and F21 Facelift (LCI) models. While it is typically used in the new generation B37 (1.5 Diesel) and N47N (Diesel) engines, compatibility depends on the type of filter housing in your vehicle. It facilitates engine breathing with its high dust retention capacity.

  • COMPATIBLE: If the filter removed from your vehicle is Rectangular (Flat Like a Book), this product (C 24 024) is 100% COMPATIBLE with your vehicle.
  • INCOMPATIBLE: If the filter removed from your vehicle is in the shape of a Cylinder (Roll/Pipe), this product is NOT COMPATIBLE. (The cylindrical filter code is usually C 27 006).

Is MANN-FILTER original?

Yes. MANN+HUMMEL is the main manufacturer supplying filters to the BMW factory. Although the product packaging may differ, it comes off the same production line as the original part with the BMW logo.

Does it fit the N47N engine?

90% of N47 engines use a cylindrical filter, but in some "EfficientDynamics" or LCI models from the 2015 transition year, this flat filter housing may be used. The most reliable method is to perform a shape check as indicated in the warning box above.

What is the replacement interval?

To ensure efficient engine operation and turbo longevity, it is recommended to replace the air filter during every 15,000 km maintenance (along with oil change).
