This is the original MANN-FILTER (C 24 024) air filter designed for the BMW 2 Series F22 (Coupe) and F23 (Cabrio) models equipped with the 218d, 220d, and 225d diesel vehicles. It is fully compatible with both the N47N (Old Generation) and B47 (New Generation) 2.0-liter diesel engines' air intake systems. The high-quality filter paper provides clean air needed by the turbo while protecting the engine from dust.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does it fit gasoline (218i / 220i) vehicles? NO, IT DOES NOT FIT! This filter is only for diesel engines. Gasoline 218i (B38) vehicles use the "Banana Type" (C 24 025), while gasoline 220i (B48) vehicles use the rectangular (C 27 045) filter. If your vehicle is diesel, you are looking at the right product.
Does it fit both N47 and B47 engines? Yes. Although BMW has revised the engine in the F22 chassis, it has not changed the design of the air filter housing for diesel engines. A 2014 model 220d (N47N) and a 2018 model 220d (B47) use the same filter (C 24 024).
How often should I replace it? For the efficient operation of turbo diesel engines and fuel savings, it is recommended to replace the air filter at every maintenance interval (10,000 - 15,000 km).
