This is a specially manufactured Velvet (Flocked) Upper Door Seal for all models of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 (2007-2014) (Sedan, Station Wagon). It is the definitive solution that eliminates the "squeak/friction" noise coming from the upper doors when the W204 flexes or drives on rough roads. The soft velvet layer on the surface prevents the seal from sticking to the body and causing noise.

Is it the seal on the chassis or the one on the door? This product is the seal that sits on top of the door leaf, at the very top of the window frame. The squeak noise comes 99% from here. It is not the large seal on the chassis (body).
Is it for a single door? Yes, the product is generally sold individually. Since noise usually comes from all 4 doors in W204s, it is recommended to order 4 pieces for a complete solution.
Can't I just spray it without changing the seal? Silicone sprays or special oils temporarily reduce the noise (1-2 weeks). However, they will collect dust and become muddy, and the noise will return more intensely. The permanent solution is to change the texture of the seal (Velvet seal).
