This is a specially manufactured Velvet (Flocked) Door Seal for Mercedes-Benz B-Class W246 (2011-2019) vehicles. It is designed to eliminate the "creaking and rubbing" sounds that come from the doors when the vehicle flexes, a common issue known to Mercedes users. Unlike standard rubber seals, the surface that contacts the vehicle body is covered with a special velvet (fuzzy) texture. This prevents friction noise and provides a premium closing sound.
