Where is this seal installed? It is the seal located on the frame at the top of the window when you open the car door (usually just below the shiny black trim). This is the part that causes the noise. It is not the large seal on the body.
How many should I buy for 4 doors? The product is sold individually. Typically, W205s have noise coming from all 4 doors. It is recommended to add 4 pieces to your cart (or purchase as a set) for a complete solution.
Will spraying it help? Silicone sprays or greases are temporary solutions and will eventually smear on the windows, causing dirt and the noise to return. The permanent and clean solution is to replace the seal with this "velvet" version.
