This Velvet (Flok) body seal features a special soft velvet layer on the contact surface with the door, which prevents noise caused by friction. It is a permanent and definitive solution, unlike temporary solutions such as silicone sprays recommended by service centers.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is it the same as the C-Class (W205)? Yes, they generally have the same profiles. The GLC (X253) and C-Class (W205) share the same platform and have the same chronic seal noise. There may be a size difference, but the profile structure is common.
Will it fit my GLK (X204)? No. The door structure and seal channels of the previous model GLC, the GLK (X204), are different. This product is only for the X253 chassis produced after 2015.
Will spraying it fix the issue? Silicone sprays may eliminate the noise for 1-2 weeks but collect dust and deteriorate the seal over time. Replacing with the velvet seal is a permanent and clean solution to this problem, just like factory output.
