BMW 5 Series E34 1987-1996 Door Trim Kit Sedan Velvet
BMW 5 Series E34 Compatible Velvet Door Seal Set (Sedan)
This complete door seal set is specially produced for the classic E34 chassis (1988-1996) of the BMW 5 Series, compatible with Sedan models. The set includes 4 seals that are mounted on the vehicle's body (door gap frame). The product is manufactured with a velvet (flocked) coating on the surfaces facing the interior, staying true to the original interior quality of the E34. By renewing your seals that have decayed, torn, or hardened over the years, it eliminates problems such as wind noise, water leakage, and road noise.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Are the seals velvet like the original?
Yes, this is the most important detail in E34 restorations. The parts of the product facing the interior are covered with soft velvet (flocked). This provides visual integrity with the headliner and pillar coverings, avoiding a simple rubber appearance.
Does it reduce wind noise?
Due to the age of E34 chassis, the existing seals are often flattened or damaged. The new seal set fills the gap between the door and body to factory standards, significantly reducing wind noise and outside sound.
How is it installed, is adhesive required?
No, adhesive is not required. The seals have a metal-reinforced clamping system inside. They are installed by manually or with a plastic hammer fitting into the metal channel on the body. Simply remove the old seal and install the new one.
Will my doors close harder?
The new seals are fuller in form compared to the old crushed seals. Therefore, during the first 1-2 weeks after installation, you may need to push your doors a bit harder to close them. As you get used to the seals, the closing firmness will return to normal, ensuring complete sealing.
