Important Compatibility Note

This product is only suitable for 4-door Sedan and Touring (Station Wagon) models' front/rear door openings. Due to different door lengths, it is not compatible with Coupe (2 Door) and Cabrio models. Please check your vehicle's body type before placing an order.

Is the product "Velvet" model?

Yes, the inner parts of these seals have a velvet (flocked) texture, just like the original BMW seals. This provides an aesthetic appearance and does not make noise when in contact with the glass frame.

Does it reduce wind noise?

Old seals become crushed over time and lose their elasticity, creating gaps between the door and body that cause wind noise. The new seal set fills the door opening completely, significantly reducing wind and road noise.

How is it installed, does it require adhesive?

The product is designed to fit into the metal channel on the body. It contains metal reinforcements that ensure retention. Generally, it does not require adhesive; you can install it by pulling out the old seal and fitting the new one into the channel while aligning the corners.

Will my doors close harder?

Since the new seals are thick and flexible, it is normal for your doors to close a bit harder than before during the first few weeks after installation. As the seals adjust (finding their rubber form), the closing will soften, and complete sealing will be achieved.
